In the 50s, Fernand DULER bought the farmland on which he had worked as sharecropper. Lover of the earth and the ocean, he was an amateur of traditional pinasse fishing, cultivation and maritime-pine resin harvesting.
Ten years later, in 1960, the first summer camps arrived. This experience proved to be inspiring and the site became a place in the sun for holiday makers.
From 1961 to 1984 the entire DULER family threw themselves heartily into the campsite adventure. Theirs was the very first private campsite in the area.
In 1984, Jeanne-Paule GADOU and Sabine LAUGAREIL, Fernand and Marie DULER’s daughters, took over the reins. Backed by their spouses, they undertook to extensively modernise and refurbish the site and its facilities.
In 1990, the first “deluxe” pitches were set out for mobile-homes.
In 2006 Alain GADOU, Jeanne-Paule’s son, took over campsite management with Marion, his German wife, who fell in love with Les Landes.
Jeanne-Paule is never very far away to lend a helping hand.In 2011, successive investments gave light to brand new facilities and fittings providing even more comfort!
And the fourth family generation is already on its way!
